This license governs the use of this mod ("the Mod") for the Heroes of
Might and Magic 1 game engine. By downloading, installing, or using the
Mod, you agree to the following terms:

1. REDISTRIBUTION
   You may not redistribute, republish, mirror, or otherwise make the
   Mod available to others, in whole or in part, without prior written
   permission from firsthomm.com. The latest release is always available
   at https://firsthomm.com for free. We are not responsible for viruses 
   or their effects if you download it from another source.

2. ORIGINAL GAME
   You agree not to pirate, distribute, or otherwise obtain the original
   Heroes of Might and Magic 1 game or its assets through unauthorized
   means. You are responsible for lawfully owning any original game
   content used with the Mod. The original game is available for purchase 
   at gog.com.

3. UBISOFT NON-COMMERCIAL LICENSE
   The Mod is distributed under the terms of the non-commercial license
   granted to firsthomm.com by Ubisoft. Under that license, the Mod may
   NOT be distributed, packaged, or bundled together with the original
   Heroes of Might and Magic 1 game files. You must lawfully own a copy
   of the original game separately in order to use the Mod. You agree not
   to violate the terms of Ubisoft's non-commercial license, and any use
   of the original game content remains subject to Ubisoft's rights and
   permissions. 

4. BUNDLING WITH OTHER MODS
   You may not package, bundle, or distribute the Mod together with any
   other mod, software, or content without express written permission
   from firsthomm.com.

5. NO COMMERCIAL USE
   You may not sell, license, or otherwise use the Mod for commercial
   purposes.

6. NO WARRANTY
   The Mod is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or
   implied, including but not limited to the warranties of
   merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and
   noninfringement. In no event shall the author be liable for any claim,
   damages, or other liability arising from the use of the Mod.

7. TERMINATION
   Any violation of these terms immediately and automatically terminates
   the rights granted to you under this license.

8. COMMUNITY SPIRIT
   The terms of this license document are intended to respect
   the rights of Ubisoft and enable the continued use and distribution of 
   the project. Please respect the non-commercial license they granted and 
   follow the terms. If we don't, they can revoke the license.
